When Task Manager isn't enough
Task Manager shows what is busy right now.
Why the PC froze a few minutes ago, and what the numbers actually mean, is left for you to work out.
At a glance
| Aspect | Task Manager | AI PC Intelligence |
|---|---|---|
| Time span | This moment plus a graph of roughly the last minute | History from minutes to weeks — go back to the moment it froze |
| Explanation | Numbers and graphs (you interpret them) | Sentences in order: cause → evidence → impact → what to do first |
| Startup apps | Startup impact per app (High, Medium, Low) and a Disable button | Measures how many seconds each app added to boot, from Windows boot performance events 101–109 |
| Browsers | Groups processes by app with a total on the Processes tab | Splits usage into tabs, extensions, GPU and services to show what is using memory |
| Heat & sensors | Only some, such as GPU temperature | Reads CPU and GPU temperature, clocks and power together to tell whether heat slowed the PC (some sensors need admin rights) |
Where Task Manager is better
It's built into Windows, needs no install and opens instantly with Ctrl+Shift+Esc.
It ends unresponsive programs immediately and handles services, users and details in one place.
It's lightweight and maintained by Microsoft, so it works the same on every PC.
When AI PC Intelligence is the better fit
Your PC freezes or slows down now and then, but it's back to normal by the time you look
You can see the numbers but don't know what to do first — it separates cache from a real memory shortage
Boot is slow and you want to know, in seconds, which app is responsible
FAQ
Does it replace Task Manager?
No, it works alongside it. You can open Task Manager, Resource Monitor and Reliability Monitor straight from the app's toolbox.
Task Manager shows 90% memory. Am I out of RAM?
Not necessarily. Windows uses spare memory as cache. You need the commit ratio and available memory together to know whether you're really short.
Is it OK to end a task?
Ending an unresponsive app in Task Manager is fine. AI PC Intelligence points out apps worth closing and only acts after you confirm.
