Before you start

Is AI PC Intelligence free?

Yes. It's free for personal use, with no ads, no sign-up and no upsell. Right now even the features for managing multiple work PCs are free.

How is it different from a PC optimizer?

It finds out why your PC is slow or hot from CPU, memory, disk and temperature data, then explains it as cause, evidence and what to do first. It never deletes or disables things blindly, and only runs proven fixes after you confirm.

Which versions of Windows does it support?

Windows 10 and Windows 11, 64-bit (x64). The interface uses Microsoft Edge WebView2, which comes built into Windows 11 and recent Windows 10. 32-bit Windows and Windows 7 or 8 are not supported.

Does it work without an internet connection?

Yes. Diagnosis and monitoring run entirely on your PC. The internet is only used for downloading, a once-a-day update check, and optional features you turn on yourself, such as AI answers.

My computer is slow. Where do I start?

After installing, click the tray icon to see your first diagnosis. If your PC just lagged, press 'It was just slow' in the dashboard and it rewinds the last 10 minutes to show which apps and resources behaved differently from normal.

Safety and permissions

Is it safe to install? Is it a virus?

The installer and program files are code-signed under the name PROJECTTEAMFORYOU through Microsoft's code signing service. Check the publisher under the file's Properties → Digital Signatures, and compare the SHA-256 value on the download page to confirm the file wasn't altered in transit.

What if Windows SmartScreen or my antivirus shows a warning?

New programs can trigger SmartScreen even when signed, until enough people have downloaded them to build a reputation. Click 'More info', check that the publisher is PROJECTTEAMFORYOU, then click 'Run anyway'. If the publisher or the SHA-256 value doesn't match, don't run it and download it again from the official download page.

Does it need administrator rights?

No. Installation and most diagnostics work as a standard user. Admin rights are only needed where Windows requires them, such as some sensors (CPU voltage, motherboard fan speeds), some boot records, creating restore points or installing drivers. In those cases, run the app as administrator or approve the Windows prompt.

How is it different from a RAM cleaner?

RAM cleaners force running apps to give up memory, which only makes the number drop for a moment. That data soon has to be read back from disk, which can actually slow things down. AI PC Intelligence never does this. Instead it finds the real cause, such as an app whose memory keeps growing.

Will it change my settings without asking?

No. Every action that changes something shows a preview and needs your approval, and you can undo it from the action history. Automatic care only checks and measures on its own; anything that would change your PC waits in an approval queue.

Privacy

Where is my data sent?

Nowhere by default. Diagnostic history stays on this PC. Data only leaves your PC through optional features you turn on yourself: asking an AI, sending error summaries, sending feedback and anonymous usage statistics. All of them are off by default. Apart from that, the app checks for a new version once a day, and you can turn that off too.

What gets sent when I ask an AI?

Only your question and a summary of the diagnosis go to the AI service you picked, with your user name, PC name, email, IP address and Wi-Fi name masked first. The privacy ledger records when something was sent, along with its size and which fields it included.

How do I delete my stored data?

Open the Privacy screen in the dashboard to see what's stored and what has been sent, then delete it all in one go. Older records are also deleted automatically once their retention period ends.

Install, update and uninstall

How do I install it?

Download the Windows installer from the download page, run it and click through a few steps. Once installed, it runs quietly in the system tray next to the clock, and clicking the icon opens your first diagnosis.

Can I use it without installing?

Yes. Download the portable ZIP, extract it and run AI PC Intelligence.exe to get the same features as the installed version. It doesn't turn on start-at-login by itself, and when you're done you just delete the folder.

Does it update automatically?

The app tells you when a new version is out. The installed version checks the file size, SHA-256 and code signature, then updates in one step after you confirm. The portable ZIP and MSI point you to the download page instead. You can turn off update checks.

How do I uninstall it completely?

First delete your stored data from the Privacy screen, then remove AI PC Intelligence under Windows Settings → Apps → Installed apps. For the portable ZIP, quit the app and delete the folder.

Does it start automatically with Windows?

The installed version turns on start-at-login the first time it runs, so it can watch quietly from the tray. If you turn it off in the dashboard or tray menu, it stays off.

Using the features

Can it check my laptop battery health?

Yes. It shows how much your battery holds compared with its design capacity, plus the wear level, and uses months of history to predict when it will drop to 80%. It also skips heavy automatic measurements while you're on battery.

Can it help when games stutter?

Yes. Using numbers recorded while you play, it tells apart a GPU limit, a CPU bottleneck and clock speeds dropping from heat, and a pre-game check finds background tasks that get in the way. Notifications are held back while you're gaming.

Can I connect it to an AI like ChatGPT or Claude?

Yes. Connect it to an AI app such as Claude with your own account, and the AI can read this PC's diagnosis in read-only mode. You can also pick from 18 services, including ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude, with your own API key, or use a local AI. Without any AI, the built-in engine still diagnoses and answers.

Can I use it on many work PCs?

Yes. There's an MSI for silent installs, a company catalog for required apps and IT support contacts, and a management console that gathers anonymous profiles to show the health of many PCs on one screen. Profiles contain no user names or file contents.

Where can I get help if a problem isn't fixed?

Create a support file (ZIP) in the app and send it to [email protected] or your company's IT team. It includes the app status and diagnostic history, leaves out PC names, user names, Wi-Fi names and serial numbers, and is never sent automatically.
