Disk at 100% — what's holding it?

When disk active time hits 100%, every click takes seconds.
Find which apps read and write how much and narrow down the cause.

What it does

Shows the apps using the disk the most and how much they read and write.

In Expert mode, see which folders are being written to and how much.

Checks SSD life and temperature, or whether it's an HDD, and tells you if replacement makes sense.

If a full C: drive is the problem, it finds files that are safe to delete, grouped by safety level.

Will switching to an SSD fix it?

On an HDD it helps a lot. But if one app keeps writing, deal with that app first.

Can updates cause 100% disk?

Windows Update, search indexing and antivirus scans can push it up for a while. Check the cause if it lasts.

After installing, click the tray icon and your first diagnosis is already done.
Every change runs only after you confirm it, and can be undone.
